AZAL’s Helicopter Sold on Auction
On the auction held by the State Committee for Property Affairs on January 24 a MI-8 helicopter MTV1 with a tail number 20151 was sold at the starting price - 320 thousand manat.
The helicopter produced in 1992 was scrapped by the national airline Azerbaijan Airlines and was put up for sale.
In 2016 the State Property Committee sold three helicopters of the kind at a public auction. The buyer’s name is not reported. -----08D

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
