Azerbaijan and Dubai Interested in Increasing Turnover
The Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received the Chairman of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce (UAE) Majid Saif Al Gurairi.
According to the information on the official website of the head of state, the sides discussed further expansion of trade, in particular, due to the export of local products of agricultural industry and tourism after the simplification of the visa regime. The focus also was on mutual investments.
According to the State Customs Committee, by November 1, 2016 the total trade turnover between the United Arab Emirates (mainly Dubai) and Azerbaijan amounted to $ 60,590,000, most of which ($ 52.19 million) fell on imports. --17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
