Azerbaijan Buys 6,000 Units of Agricultural Machinery
Azerbaijan purchases 6,000 units of agricultural machinery abroad, 5% of which has already been delivered to the supply base of the state JSC Agroleasing, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture informs.
Since the beginning of the year, 115 tractors and 973 units of various equipment intended for growing cotton and sugar beets have been purchased and handed over to agricultural producers for leasing.
The purchase of agricultural machinery is carried out on the basis of the needs of cotton companies for the production of cotton. Purchase of 150 cotton harvesters, 1,270 tractors and 4182 units of other equipment is envisaged. The assembly and production of some types of agricultural machinery is carried out in the Ganja Automobile Plant, as well as the Azerbaijan-Turkish JV Kaspi-Yildiz with the participation of the Research Institute of Agricultural Mechanics of the Ministry of Agriculture. ---08D
