Azerbaijan increased oil transportation via BTC pipeline
From January to April 2016 9,815,567 tons of Azerbaijani oil has been pumped via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline, up 2.6% against the same period last year.
Press office of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) reported that since launching of the pipeline on June 4, 2006 till May 1, 2016 the volume of oil pumping totaled 302,490,956 tons, of which 2,502,255 tons in April.
In April 2016 350,862 tons of Turkmen oil was transported via the BTC.—0—
