The experts of the insurance company AzSigorta that created an operational headquarters to respond jointly with the Ministry of Emergency Situations, have completed the examination of the alleged damages due to the earthquake in the Sheki region.
According to today's press release, the examination was conducted by the staff operational groups, each of which included an emergency commissioner from AzSigorta, a representative of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and an expert from an independent evaluation company. Total to date they have received 70 applications from victims. On the results of inspections 27 of them have been recognized as insurable events, and 5 are pending. Applications continue to come.
According to the company, the average claimed damage for insurance claims amounted to about 3 thousand manats.
Recall, on September 4 at 29 kilometers from the district center there was a powerful earthquake. In the epicenter the tremors reached 7 points, while in Mingachevir, Yevlakh, Ganja, Goychay and other surrounding areas they were up to 6 points. --17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
