Banks Bought $ 50 Million from SOFAZ
Today the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) through an auction organized by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan sold $ 50 million.
According to SOFAZ, the last auction took place today, where $ 100 million was proposed to acquire. The auction was attended by 21 banks that bought the said sum of $ 50 million.
The sale of foreign currency by the Fund is carried out in the framework of transfers to the state budget of $ 7 billion 615 million AZN allocated for this year.
By January 1, SOFAZ's assets amounted to $ 33.57 billion (minus 9.5% to early 2015). --17D-
