Barda-Agdam railway will be built
Baku / 24.11.20 / Turan: On November 24, the head of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, signed an order on the construction of the Barda-Agdam railway.
5 million manats were allocated from the President's Reserve Fund for the design of this 45-km-long highway.
In Soviet times there was a railway in this direction through Agdam to Khankendi. — 06D-

In a significant development for the North-South international transport route, exploration work on the Rasht-Astara railway section, which will connect Azerbaijan and Iran, is scheduled to begin in June 2024.
