By September 1, Insurers Collected 356.18 Million AZN of Premiums
BAKU / 20.09.16 / TURAN: The Financial Market Supervision House published a review of the insurance segment.
According to the data, by 1 September there was collected 356.18 million manats of premiums (+ 13.9% compared to January-August last year). Most of the revenue (63.6% or 226 million 569 thousand manats) fell on voluntary insurance. Members of the Compulsory Insurance Bureau on these types gathered 129 million 611 thousand manats.
Within the life insurance three participants collected 105,402,000 manats (+ 28.5%), for other types there was collected 250,778,000 manats (+ 8.6%).
Payments by September 1 totaled 136 million 772 thousand AZN (+ 17.7%), and the payment of life insurance grew the most (+ 47.7%), amounting to 48 million 457 thousand AZN. --17D-
