Calculations for Water Supplies Simplified for IDPs
As a result of the activation of downloads of free limits on the use of water and sewerage services on smart cards for internally displaced persons (IDPs), these accounts have been simplified.
The press service of the public water service operator OJSC Azersu said that the government set a limit for the displaced people in a volume of 5 m3 for each family member. From now on they will be able to replenish the balance of smart card water meters through payment terminals eManat. Integration of smart cards to the payment system is provided by the company Modenis. The country has more than 1,300 terminals eManat, including 201 in the regions.
Prior to that, internally displaced persons, whose apartments are equipped with smart meters, were required to attend local water management JSC for loading amounts for the free use of water and sewerage services. --08D--
