Children"s Day kicks off competition of knowledge about Azerbaijan
June 1, starts competition of knowledge about Azerbaijan.
According to the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (http://mincom.gov.az/media-ru/novosti/page-1250/details/1642), June 1 for the first time in the Internet starts national intellectual competition "I - Azerbaijani".
The purpose of the contest - to introduce and promote the national cultural heritage. Take part in the competition you can through the website and www.azerbaycanliyam.az page on the social network Facebook. Register on the site has already begun.
The contest will continue until December 1. Every 10 days, the winners, which were included in the top ten, will be awarded to netbooks, which were included in the first hundred - 10th manat contours of local mobile operators, the winners for the month will be awarded to the iPhone and iPad, and the participants of the Super Final will receive solid cash prizes.
The winner of the Super Final, if it goes to the master's degree in ICT profession in a foreign university, determined in accordance with the State Program on Education of Azerbaijani youth in foreign countries in 2007-2015's, instead of prize money may choose to pay their education fund human resources for development of ICT.

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
