Compulsory Insurance of Real Estate and Passengers Not Popular
The Bureau of Compulsory Insurance (BCI) informs that in June (http://isb.az/iyun-ayinda-dasinmaz-emlakin-icbari-sigortasi-uzre-11-639-muqavile-baglanilmisdir) within the framework of compulsory insurance of real estate 13 specialized companies signed 11,639 contracts (minus 14% to June of last year) in the amount of 4.2 million AZN (minus 17%).
Most of the policies (79.8%) were sold for homes and apartments, 19.8% - for non-residential premises, and 0.4% - for administrative buildings.
The civil liability of owners of real estate did not interest citizens at all - 310 contracts worth 22.68 thousand AZN were signed in June. On the insurance of passengers 28 contracts were signed for 7,190 AZN. --17D-
