Consumer Prices Rose by 0.2% in April
In April this year, the State Statistics Committee recorded the lowest monthly inflation rate - 0.2%.
As Turan was told in the SSC, in April compared with March, food prices rose by an average of 0.1%, non-food products - 0.5%. Prices and tariffs for paid services remained roughly stable.
In annual terms, inflation for January-April of this year amounted to 10.5%, while in January the figure was 13.8%. During the four-month period food rose in price by 12.2%, non-food products - 15.2%, while services rose only by 4.2%, the State Statistics Committee estimated. ----08B

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
