Customs exceeded the forecast by 0.6%
In 2012, the State Customs Committee ensured payment of customs taxes and duties totaling 1,208.3 million manat. This is 0.69% more than projected in the state budget.
In December, the SCC collected 116.8 million manat. This is the highest figure for the past two years. A record collection of monthly revenues to the state budget (170.8 million manat) by the customs was made in December 2010.
In 2011, the contribution of the SCC to the state budget amounted to 1 billion 141 million manats. In 2013, the SCC will bring to the state budget 1,380 mln AZN. The increase in revenue is planned to come from the projected increase in imports. - 08D-
