In January, the subjects of foreign economic relations transferred 103.6 million manat to the State Customs Committee, which is 119 thousand manat less than in the comparable period of 2015, the department told Turan.
Imports of goods decreased 23% in January compared to January 2015.

It is noteworthy that in the wake of the government’s declared fight against monopolies, the customs service said on simplification of customs procedures for importers. However, as soon as these measures were taken, entrepreneurs began to complain about the high level of fees.
