The State Company Azermarka issued a postage stamp to mark the 175th anniversary of the release of the first stamp in the world.
According to the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan, the face value of the stamp is 20 kopecks.
Penny Black was the first postage stamp in history. It was made in black and had a face value of 1 penny. The first postage stamps and stamped envelopes appeared in England on May 6, 1840. --17D-
