Disabled veterans distribute cars in the midst of the presidential election
This year, the disabled veterans of the Karabakh war are handed cars not dedicated to some great moment, but in the midst of the presidential election. Yesterday 40 war veterans were handed the keys to the car brand NAZ Lifan.
Before the veterans received cars, they honored the memory of former President Heydar Aliyev and laid a wreath at the bust at the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection. Speaking in front of them, the Minister Fizuli Alekperov said that over the past ten years, Azerbaijan has entered a phase of rapid socio -economic development, in which it addresses important social problems of veterans and disabled veterans. Only in 2003-2013 war invalids were distributed more than 2,800 cars and four thousand apartments. Total since 1998, they received 3,800 cars and apartments for 5 thousand people.
In the coming days, cars will be received by 140 more disabled veterans.
This year, the Nakhchivan automobile plant collected 326 vehicles, which is 2.7 times more than in January- August 2012. At the beginning of September there were 192 cars stored in enterprises. -08D-
