Dollar Rises on Foreign Exchange Auction
On the foreign exchange auction of the Central Bank, the US dollar rose again today. The auction began with a rate of AZN 1.7475 and ended with AZN 1.7525 per US dollar.
The vast majority of commercial banks refuse to sell foreign currency to the population. Only a small number of banks sell currency at a strict limit of 100-150 dollars or euros per person. -71D-
