Finance Ministry Earns AZN 21 Million from Sale of Bonds
On the November 1 auction the Finance Ministry fully placed bonds worth 22 million manat with a circulation period of 91 days.
According to the protocol of the Baku Stock Exchange, the weighted average price of a bond amounted to 95 manat 66 gepiks at par value of 100 manat or 18.44% per annum. On several applications investors bought bonds even at the yield of up to 22% per annum.
In total, the auction was attended by 8 investors who placed 14 bids for a total of over 63 million manat.
From the sale of securities the Finance Ministry earned 21 million 51 thousand manat. -----08D
