In January-February 2017 the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Azerbaijan amounted to 10 billion 42.6 million manat. In comparable prices, the GDP increased by 0.4%.
The non-oil sector accounts for 56.8% of the GDP. In this sector, the GDP grew by 2.3% in two months, the State Statistics Committee (SSC) reports.
Last year, the two-month GDP was 7.8 billion manat.
The GDP per capita was 1,035.6 manat. Last year this figure was 822.3 manat.
SSC does not disclose macroeconomic indicators in US dollars. GDP growth in actual prices is related to inflationary processes. -----08D

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
