Imports of Motor Vehicles Decreased by 43%
For two months Azerbaijan was supplied 7.5 thousand cars. This is 43% less than in the same period in 2014.
Within the period purchased from abroad were 7,031 cars, which were 4,967 units less than in the same period last year. It should be noted that this year the government purchased more than 700 vehicles for the needs of the police.
In connection with the organization of the first European Games since the beginning of the year were purchased 119 buses, which will mainly serve the guests of Baku.
This year, there has been about three times the decrease in import of trucks (339 units) and special purpose vehicles (22).
Note that this year in Azerbaijan increased excise duties on imports of motor vehicles. ----- 08D
