In 2016 SOCAR expected to have gas production decline, said Natig Aliyev
In 2016 State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) is forecast to extract 6.3 billion cub.m. of gas, Azerbaijani Energy Minister Natig Aliyev said in his article published in the official press.
In 2015 SOCAR’s gas production forecast was 6.5 billion cub.m. From January to November 2015 SOCAR has extracted 6,323,100,000 cub.m. of gas.
He added that at present Azerbaijan extracts 89 million cub.m. of gas a day.
During 2015 Azerbaijan extracted a total of 29.1 billion cub.m. of gas, writes Minister.—0—

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
