According to the review of the monetary policy for the first half of 2013 by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (http://cbar.az/assets/2916/PSI_2013_Q_2.pdf), 94.9% of employment is in various sectors of the economy and the social sphere.
In this case, 1,480,000 (+8.1% compared to July 1 last year) are engaged in wage labor. Only 2.5% of civilian citizens are employed in the oil sector, and the rest are in the non-oil sector.
According to forecasts of the CBA, in the third quarter employment in the industrial and construction sector will increase and employment in trade and services will decrease. -17D-
