In Azerbaijan, for First Time Announced Selling Wheat Grain to Local State Fund
LLC Qarabag-Takhil started collecting wheat on two government-created large grain farms in the Agjabedi and Beylagan regions. Farms harvested from the fields on the average a yield of 55-60 quintals, which is implemented for the needs of the State Grain Fund, Turan was told by the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development.
Ltd. Qarabag-Takhil, which is a subsidiary of Devechi Broiler, was created with the financial support of the state exemplary farms. At the expense of public investment there were carried out comprehensive ameliorative measures on 4,800 hectares of land, built a concrete canal with length of 10.7 kilometers, as well as high voltage electricity cable. Investments amounted to 27.6 million manat.
MED, which is responsible for general management of the project, allocated a soft loan of AZN 10 mln for the creation of this enterprise.from the National Fund for Entrepreneurship Support. Under the grain farming an agricultural service was created and a granary with a capacity of 30 thousand tons is under construction. The land is irrigated by the modern system of artificial rain and agronomic work and harvesting are carried out with equipment and combines purchased in the U.S.
This year wheat is collected from 1,875 hectares and corn, sunflower and soybean are picked from 2,000 hectares. In autumn wheat will be sown on 4,800 hectares. - 08D -

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
