In January 2014 Azerbaijan exported its gas at $211.98 per 1000 cub.m.
According to the meters of the Azerbaijan State Customs Committee, in January 2014 930,923,900 cub.m. of gas was exported, up 26.5% against the same period last year.
According to the Committee, the declared volume of gas export totaled 289,801,041 cub.m. to the amount of $61,432,200. On the basis of this data one can draw a conclusion that since early year Azerbaijan had exported 1000 cub.m. for $211.98.
At present Azerbaijani gas is exported directly by State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) to Russia, Iran and Georgia and by the Shah-Deniz consortium to Georgia and Turkey via the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas pipeline. Gas of the Shah-Deniz consortium is not declared at the customs agencies.—0—

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
