In January, the amount of data received by the SPS decreased by 28.5%
The Financial Monitoring Service (FMS) under the Central Bank of Azerbaijan in January 2013 received 19 thousand items of information on suspicious transactions and the current, which is 28.5% less than the previous month.
According to the service during the past year they received 259.867 thousand data. Compared to January-December 2011 the figure rose to 22.91 thousand units, or 9.7 percent.
Financial Monitoring has functioned since 2009 and is the body in charge of the state policy in the field of combating money laundering and terrorist financing. - 15B -
