In quarter 1, 2014 SOCAR increased payments to state budget by 35.5%
During quarter 1, 2014 State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) paid 523,106,000 AZN to the state budget (385,992,000 AZN during quarter 1, 2013), up 137,114,000 AZN or by 35.5% against the same period last year, reads information posted on SOCAR’s web site.
From January to March 2014 SOCAR has also paid 37,038,000 AZN to the State Social Security Fund (36,989,000 AZN), up 49,000 AZN or 0.1% against the same period last year.—0—
