In September, food prices remained stable
In September in Azerbaijan's capital and other major cities of the country, food prices on average remained unchanged. At the same time, within a month the prices of some food yet underwent a change. In particular, fell by 4.1% corn oil prices and 25% - those of eggs. In comparison with the same period last year, average prices rose by 1.8%, but in comparison with the beginning of the year prices fell by 2.5%.
Non-seasonal fruits and vegetables prices rose by an average of 15-20%. At the same time seasonal fruits and vegetables prices have fallen by 30-35%.
In the coming days, food prices will remain relatively stable, and seasonal fruits and vegetables prices will fall.

According to official statistics from Azerbaijan, bilateral trade in 2023 reached 3.1 billion US dollars.
