Increasing Food Prices Inevitable - Group Veyseloglu
The pricing policy for food products sold in Azerbaijan will depend on the exchange rate of the manat against foreign currencies and will be determined based on supply and demand. This statement was made by Group Veyseloglu, which is one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of food products in Azerbaijan.
In a press statement it noted that any artificial increase in prices cannot be considered. "The current condition requires bringing the price policy in compliance with the exchange rate of the manat, as the new course made it difficult for us."
Veyseloglu Ltd. operates since 1994 and is a distributor of over 100 food items imported from 20 countries. The group also owns the chocolate factory Ulduz in Baku and the bottling plant of mineral waters Sirab.
According to the register of certificates of conformity, which is conducted by the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patent, the group of companies Veyseloglu has the right to sell 194 kinds of food. 08D
