Individual hunting farms subject to licensing
Creating individual hunting farms in Azerbaijan is subject to licensing. The corresponding order was signed by the head of state.
According to the document, stamp duty for a license for this activity will be 1.1 thousand manat. Licenses will be issued by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.
According to the decree, the Cabinet of Ministers within two months is to approve additional conditions for issuing licenses for the creation of individual game farms.
Today, the country operates 60 game farms. In 2008 there were 39. The country has introduced a temporary ban on hunting wild game in connection with avian influenza. --17D-
