License of Insurance Company Qarant Sigorta Canceled
The Financial Markets Supervision House (FMSH) has canceled the license of the insurance company JSC Qarant Sigorta on the basis of the company’s appeal, FMSH said.
The shareholders' meeting in December 2015 decided to eliminate the insurance company.
‘Due to the fact that the company was being eliminated on their own decision and according to the law, the insurance portfolio was transferred to Pasha Sigorta Insurance Company to meet the liabilities.’
Note that the license for the activities of the insurance company Qarant Sigorta was given on July 23, 2013. ---71D

Azerbaijan's financial standing continues to strengthen as the country's foreign currency reserves have surged to $71 billion as of January 1, 2025, according to the Ministry of Finance. This figure, which includes reserves held by the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) and the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), far exceeds the nation's external debt, which stands at a fraction of its reserves, specifically nearly 14 times less.
