Long-term Construction of Azerbaijani Railway Bridge
Baku / 09.09.17 / Turan: Azerbaijan Railways (AzR) CJSC has concluded a contract for the reconstruction of the metal single-line railway bridge on the 253rd kilometer of the Yevlakh-Malay distance. This bridge was planned to be renewed in 2005-2016 (https://goo.gl/Rp5XpR).
The value of the contract signed on September 13 between AzR and Korpu-Bina-Tikinti LLC is 12 million manat. How the company has been selected is not reported.
Back in November 2014, the former head of AzR Arif Askerov reported https://goo.gl/JTqkYy that the estimated cost of reconstruction of this bridge was 42 million 380.2 thousand manat. The work began in 2013, and by that time, 15.8 million manat was spent. This project was included in the State Program of the Railway Transport System Development in 2010-2014 (https://goo.gl/7ti28Q) and the State Program of Social and Economic Development of Regions in 2014-2018 (https://goo.gl/Axyt3a).
