Ministry of Finance Issued Budget Guide of Citizen
The Ministry of Finance continues to acquaint the citizens of the state budget in an accessible form. It is announced by the Budget Guide of the Citizen for 2017 (https://goo.gl/hUXZFy).
In 2017, the state budget revenues have been approved at the level of AZN 16 billion 255 million. Of these, 7 billion 940 million will be obtained from the oil sector. People, companies and businessmen working in the non-oil sector will be paid to the budget 8 billion 315 million manat.
The state budget deficit will amount to 645 million manat, which will be covered by privatization revenues, budget balance over the previous year, and the EU grandees.
Explaining the reasons for the decline in budget revenues to the population, the Finance Ministry said it is the result of deterioration in the economy.
Independent NGOs noted that the government ignores public opinion and does not allow them to the preparation of the draft budget and its correction. The government also does not respond to economic conclusions prepared by NGOs on the state budget and its execution.
The document has been prepared for the fourth consecutive year and is part of the government's international obligations to ensure the transparency of public finance. In addition to the state budget it also reflects the data on the consolidated budget. --08B
