Ministry of Finance to Place T-bills of Ten Million Manat
Tomorrow at Baku Stock Exchange the next batch of state T-bills of the Ministry of Finance will be placed. Investors are invited to buy discount bonds of 10 million manat with a circulation period of 182 days.
This year, the Ministry of Finance has issued T-bills in the total amount of AZN 700 million, which, like last year, will be placed on a pre-approved schedule.
Investors in these securities are mainly banks and insurance companies, which are facing a problem with the placement of available funds. Yields on the T-bills are 16 to 19% per annum. ----08D

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
