Money supply expanded in October almost a half percent
BAKU/13.12.13/TURAN : The money supply increased in October 2013 to 208.2 million or 1.41 %, to 15,017.8 million manat. Over the past 12 months, the volume of manat funds in the economy increased by 2,454.2 million or 19.5%.
According to the Azerbaijani Central Bank , the amount of cash outside the banking system grew in October at 164.4 million or 1.7% to 9724.4 million manat. Non-cash increased by AZN 43.8 million or 0.8% to 5293.4 million manat. Proportion of the latter in the structure of AZM treatment decreased to 35.2 %.
Broad money expanded during the reporting month for 253.8 million or 1.44 %, while for the year - to 2260.8 million or 14.5 % to $ 17,867.4 million manat.
The volume of the foreign exchange supply in the banking system increased in October by 45.6 million or 1.6% to 2849.6 million manat equivalent. Foreign exchange for the year decreased 6.4 %. Manat share resources in the total money supply was 84.1%, which is 3.6 % more than by November 1, 2012 .
The total volume of the monetary base rose in October by 1.2 %, while for the year - by 15.6 % to 10,823.2 million manat. Manat monetary base increased in the reporting month by 1.1 % amounting to 10,732.2 million manat. - 15B -
