MTPL Contracts Decreased by 12.1%
In November 2016 Azerbaijan insurance companies made 64,961 contracts in electronic form on mandatory insurance of liability of vehicle owners (MTPL), said the Bureau of Compulsory Insurance.
The insurance fees totaled 5.2 million manat. Compared to the same period in 2015, the number of insurance contracts has decreased by 12.1%, and insurance fees have decreased by 14.5%. Since November 1, in Azerbaijan MTPL contracts have been concluded only in electronic format.
MTPL insurance fees amounted to 3,125,012 manat. -------71D
