Municipalities continue to land auctions
Azerbaijani municipalities continue to sell the property transferred to them in 1999 by land.
On August 17 the next scheduled land auctions to be held in many cities and regions of the country. Put up for auction 252 plots of land, 153 of which are located in the Absheron region.
The experience of previous trades shows that, with few exceptions, these trades are a form of land titling for those who have used and use it for many years. This may explain the fact that in most cases the land put up for sale by tender, and not the auction, but the starting price of land is much lower than the market.
Following the announcement of the State Land and Cartography Committee, which since April 2009 is the organizer of trading land for sale and lease of state and municipal land auction method provides 24 plots of land. Municipalities offer to lease 22 plots of land, mainly for agricultural purposes. For the construction of individual houses offered 156 parcels of land, including the municipalities of Absheron - 129.
Weaving the land continues to be offered mainly at 200-300 manats. There are more or less positive examples. So, the Saray municipality of the Absheron district offers two large land holdings in the business and agricultural purposes at a starting price of 1600 manats (2.68 ha) and 655 manats (3.4 hectares) per one hundred square meters, respectively.
In the cities of Baku and Ganja by now bidding for the sale of municipal lands are not held. This is due to the lack of municipal Baku and Ganja ownership documents. - 08B -
