New assistant for economic reforms of the president of the state s
By presidential decree, Natig Amirov was appointed assistant to the president for economic reforms. Prior to that, Amirov worked as First Deputy Minister of Taxes. Natig Amirov (1967) is a graduate of the Leningrad Financial-Economic Institute. He started his career in the city of Sumgayit as an economist; in 1991, became a tax inspector, and then became deputy head of the tax office of Sumgait in 2000. Then he was transferred to the tax office of Sabail district of Baku, and in 2001 to the Ministry of Taxes, where he headed a number of departments.
In August 2005 he was appointed deputy minister, and in March 2009 - the first deputy minister of taxes.
It is noteworthy there was not similar position in the president’s administration. However, the president has such an economic advisor - Vahid Akhundov, who for a long time is silent, and does not confirm his need.
