Giymet Mehdiyev denies acquisition of 16 villas
Deputy Chief of the main investment department of SOCAR Giymet Mehdiyev denied reports obuying by his wife 16 villas in the Turkish Bodrum amountng $20 million.
Mehdiyev said that his wife bought half villa. In the statement issued by ANS PRESS, Mehdiyev called the reports "unfounded and totally untrue." He described "the lie", as damage to the reputation of his family and business image of SOCAR. Mehdiyev said that he has been for 30 years, and his wife is a successful designer. He also said that the woman presented on the photo as his wife, is not his wife.
The photocopy of the document of the villa published on the web site of Eynulla Fatullayev shows that the half of bought house published by the website is 200,000 Turkish lira, which is equal to about $60,000.Therefore, the information provided by the public has been "criminally falsified." "It forces me to take legal meaasures against the author of this lie," said Mehdiyev.
