Number of Owners of Electronic Digital Signatures Reached 36,000
According to the National Certification Authority of Azerbaijan, September 1, the number of electronic digital signatures (EDS) was 35,915 (2.3% by 1 August).
According to the information on the website of Ministry of Communications and High Tech, of the total number of electronic signatures issued, the greatest number of owners is from the state structures (21,795 units). Legal persons have 6385 signatures, individuals have 7,735.
The right of the electronic signature facilitates citizens' access to virtual services (available from the 454 declared are 335) public and government institutions, which are available on the portal of "electronic government» (e-gov.az).
Access to the portal is carried out using a digital signature, the identity of the private entrepreneurs and citizens, login and password, as well as mobile authentication system, which can be obtained in electronic form after the registration on the portal. --17D
