Old buildings in Baku will be demolished
A large number of old buildings will be demolished in the nine districts of Baku in accordance with the decision of the government of 25 February "On additional measures to accelerate socio-economic development of Surakhani, Nasimi, Khatai, Narimanov, Nizami, Yasamal, Sabail, Pirallahi, and Khazar districts of Baku."
According to the document, in the next five years will be demolished 63 residential buildings in Surakhani district, Nasimi - 226 residential built in the late 19th - early 20th centuries.
There will also be demolished 99 buildings in Khatai, 219 - in Narimanov, 131 - Nizami, 18 - in Yasamal, 41 - in Sabail, 297 - in Pirallahi areas.
Local executive authorities have been instructed to prepare territorial planning documents, taking into account housing not suitable for living and commercial buildings.
When the demolition of old building and the construction of new buildig in their place , local authorities have to decide issues with private companies of temporary rent of apartments for residents. The owners of the demolished housing in the buildings get flats in new homes.
In the Khazar district with the consent of the owners is planned demolition of buildings not suitable for housing and not relevant to urban development standards along the main roads and streets. For this the district authorities have been instructed to submit within two months a program of measures to improve the living conditions and build new buildings.--03D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
