In 2013, two stations of Baku Subway will be commissioned, the head of the organization Tagi Ahmadov said in the interview with the official information portal of the ruling political party New Azerbaijan.
According to him, the local subway is at the 41st place among 154 cities in the world that have this kind of transport. As the pace of construction and capacity situation is even better - he believes. Thus, through the allocation of AZN 600 million local architects and builders completed the construction of the stations Nasimi, Azadlyg Prospekti and Darnagyul, commissioned the second output from the station 28 May and finished the reconstruction of the stations Icherisheher and Koroglu.
New stations will soon open under the conditional names Bus Station, Memar Ajami-2, Hazi Aslanov-2, Old Guneshli and New Guneshli (at the location of the output).
According to the budget forecasts, the Finance Ministry next year will allocate subsidies to Baku Subway to cover losses in the amount of 29.2 million manat. This is 6.4 million or 28% more than this year.
Recall that in 2009 the cost of travel in the Baku Metro increased 4-fold (from 5 to 20 kopecks - $ 0.26). Tagi Akhmedov previously argued that the cost of travel is 49 kopecks ($ 0.63). - 17D-
