Ongoing info-tour LLC AtaTravel for Russian tour operators
May 5, LLC AtaTravel held a press conference dedicated to the info-tour of Russian travel companies to Azerbaijan. Representatives of some 30 Russian tourist companies took part in the info-tour from 3 to 8 May on the Baku-Gabala-Naftalan-Ganja route.
Deputy General Director of AtaTravel Ertogrul Gafarov said that organized for the first time in the country, the massive info-tour aims to attract the Russian tourist business in Azerbaijan According to experts, Azerbaijan has great tourism potential, however, to date, it is not fully used . "The companies attracted to our info-tour generally represent the interests of more than 600 Russian travel agencies. Therefore, we expect an increasing interest in our country and increase in the flow of tourists," he said.
The representative of Hot Tours Russia, Ali Ganiyev said the conducted info-tour is a great opportunity to get acquainted with the potential of affiliate companies and travel with all the benefits of the country and its sights and resorts. So in the future this will let more actively offer these directions to the customers. Participants of the info-tour were pleasantly impressed with the positive changes in the tourism sector of Azerbaijan, government support and private sector activity in tourism," said Ganiyev.
