Only 7.3% of E-commerce Accounted for Individuals
The turnover of e-retailers in Azerbaijan in the I quarter of 2015 amounted to 2 million 720 thousand manat (1.7 times more than by April 1 last year).
According to the State Statistics Committee, 92.7% of the goods in real time were ordered by legal entities and only 7.3% were in individuals.
In addition, 96.3% of turnover in this segment is for non-food items.
Last year, the total turnover of e-retailers was at 6.4 million manat --17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
