Privateers Provided 84% of Construction in January-July
During the past seven months, more than four-fifths (83.8%) of the total volume of construction work was carried out by private companies.
In absolute terms, this segment of the economy by August 1 amounted to 3 billion 579.5 million manats (minus 21% compared to the same period last year), according to the information on the official website of the State Statistics Committee.
About two-thirds (65.5%) of the executed works are directly related to the construction, reconstruction and expansion, 17.3% - to the overhaul, and 5% - to the current repair. The remaining 12.2% belongs to the category of "other construction works." --17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
