Last year, the volume of cargo transportation by air transport (123.8 thousand tons) declined by 1.8%. Transportation is carried out mainly by planes of two airlines of Silk Way Holding (LLC Silk Way Airlines and LLC Silk Way West). However, the airline achieved revenue growth.
According to the committee, the cost of cargo airlines increased in 2014 in comparison with 2013 by 74.7 million manat to 455.6 million manat.
Thus, the book profit on the transport of air cargo in 2014 amounted to 83.6 million manat. It is 52.7 million manat less than in 2013.
It should be emphasized that the company Silk Way Airlines is included in the top thirty public and private companies and has to publish consolidated annual financial statements in the press and the corporate website. However, the company deviates from this obligation. ----08B
