Salaries of state employees dropped
State Statistics Committee published a report on the analysis of statistics of public servants by gender, age and length of service structure for 2013.
According to the State Statistics Committee, the public service employs 29.2 thousand people. This is 2.4% more than in 2011. Compared to 2005 (25.7 thsd people) officials have increased by 13.6%.
Exactly 50% of workers in the public service are at the age of 35-54 years. In retirement age (over 63 years) are 3.5% of the officials. About a third of the officials are young people, including the age of 30 years - 17.1%, from 30 to 24 years - 14.1%.
Approximately one of ten officials (9.7%) had been employed in the past year. Public service of up to 5 years has been provided by 23.5% of the officials. Every fourth official has experience in the public service 15 years and above.
If in 2011 the share of women in the public service was 27.9%, while in 2012 this figure had fallen to 0.5%-tion points.
Options, as at the first January 2013 was 90.6%. In other words, 9.4% were vacant positions.
It is noteworthy that in the last year has declined, and the average monthly salary of officials and amounted to 446.7 manat. In 2011, the figure was 448.3% or 0.35% higher. - 08D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
