Short-term Notes of Central Bank for AZN 50 Million Registered
The Financial Markets Supervision Authority (FIMSA) registered short-term notes of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan for a total of AZN 50 million, FIMSA said.
500 thousand notes at face value of 100 manat each were issued for a period of 27 days.
In February, FIMSA registered 1 million 500 thousand short-term notes of the Central Bank at a nominal value of 100 manat each.
Note that the notes are issued within the framework of anti-inflation measures. In addition, for the sterilization of money, the Central Bank, starting in June 2016, holds a deposit auction every week. ------71D
