Short-term Notes of Central Bank Registered in Amount of AZN 550 Million
The Financial Markets Supervision Authority (FIMSA) has registered two issues of short-term notes of the Central Bank for a total amount of 550 million manat.
The prospectus of 5 million short-term notes at par value of 100 manat each was registered under number 56S.
In addition, 500 thousand short-term notes at par value of 100 manat each was registered under number 50200853S.
The maturity of the notes is 35 days.
In February, FIMSA in three emissions registered short-term notes of the Central Bank for a total amount of AZN 150 million.
Note that notes are issued as part of anti-inflation measures. In addition, for the sterilization of money, since June 2016, CBA has been conducting weekly deposit auctions. ------71D
