The winner of the project "ecaHack" will take part in the competition "Global Hackathon" in Bucharest
April 13-14, the final of the competition "ecaHack", held for the first time in Azerbaijan. The main purpose of the project, organized by the Center for Innovation and Barama "Hackathon Azerbaijan" in the general sponsorship of Azercell Telecom, is the expansion of mobile applications and promote the development of ICT in Azerbaijan as a whole.
The project, launched in March this year, is a team competition for applications based on the operating system Android. According to the decision of the International Jury, the project team of Rufat Babakishiev "Afrodita" was awarded the first place, the project team Kamran Samedli "Party Sanchez" - second place, and the project team to outline Mammadzadeh "Eynsteyn" - third place. The authors of the winning project will present its Android app international judges at the competition "Global Hackathon" in Bucharest in October this year.
The competition is part of the project "Global ecaHack", held in different countries of Eastern Europe. Teams from 12 countries will take part in the final competition held in Romania. With the support of Azercell, the first time the talented youth of Azerbaijan will have a chance to represent our country in this international competition.
The main goal of the Innovation Center for Barama, operating at Azercell, is to find, develop and support the implementation of ICT projects. To date, the organization of the center and the support of Azercell been a number of innovative projects. World Competition startups, "Baku TechTalks", Science and Technology Program for Entrepreneurship and other projects provide an opportunity for talented young people from Azerbaijan to implement their ideas, present them at the international level and achieve greater financial support.

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
