There are still problems with the archival documents of enterprises
The Tovuz district office of the State Social Protection Fund ( SSPF ) hosted a reception of citizens of the western economic region of the country.
According to the press service of the government structure, the chairman Salim Muslumov learned the problems of the payers of compulsory social contributions and pensioners in the Shamkir, Gadabay, Gazakh, Agstafa and Tovuz regions .
The report did not indicate the number of complainants, but noted that the reception was held on the principle of "open door". Part of the confusion is related to the legal aspects of calculating pensions (the period of study enrollment in full-time work experience in higher education institutions, the purpose of pensions to former government employees, the problems caused by the lack of historical data of enterprises and so on). A large part of the applications were associated with the reflection of the personal accounts pension capital and compulsory social insurance. - 17D-

Azerbaijan's financial standing continues to strengthen as the country's foreign currency reserves have surged to $71 billion as of January 1, 2025, according to the Ministry of Finance. This figure, which includes reserves held by the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) and the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), far exceeds the nation's external debt, which stands at a fraction of its reserves, specifically nearly 14 times less. This robust reserve position reflects Azerbaijan's fiscal stability and the government’s strategic economic management.
